The notable Ruster Danish lounge chair by Swedish designer Yngve Ekström and edited by Pastoe in the 1960s. The leather is in its original condition, the frame has been expertly re-finished. Yngve Ekstrôm was a designer of Swedish furniture, un sculptor, architect and an important figure of the Scandinavian design movement. Pastoe is an important manufacturer in the Netherlands. This model is an exclusive edition with leather and teak wood. We are an exhibition space and an online destination established by the passionate art director behind Jonathan Amar Studio. Our gallery presents a harmonious mix of iconic and engaging 20th-century pieces and bespoke contemporary lighting. With a strong focus on Italian mid-century designs, his success strives from sourcing designs with striking shapes, creative techniques, and interesting materials that cross the concept of time in the same way a Spirit does. All our pieces are expertly restored at our atelier and we only offer items that will last another lifetime. Our 350 square meter workspace includes a luminous gallery, a restoration atelier where our expert artisans in metalwork, woodwork, upholstery, and electrics; restore each piece with the mission to honor a balance between restoration and preservation. There may be light age-related wear but no hard damages or structural issues.
