Vintage Design
This is a 1970’s Italian rattan armchair by Franco Albini. We cannot attribute this with any documentation but the design and quality of construction would suggest to us that this chair was designed by Franco Albini, the Italian architect who worked for Gio Ponti and is renowned for his craft and design in rattan. Either way, it is a handsome armchair with a distinct seventies design and generous hoop arms. The armchair is in excellent condition.
