Contemporary Design
In its original use, this console served as a table for altars in the center of the prayer room in Chinese homes or in Buddhist temples. Mountain Altar is a modern semi -transparent curved glass console, resting on a mountain -shaped glass support with ancient wood inlays.
The stylization of the mountain is a typical oriental symbol, often painted in the so -called “mountain water” paintings (Shan Shui), which reflect the yin and yang of harmony and peace. This round glass console, in combination with handcrafted glass and wooden support, presents itself as an elegant furnishing complement with a minimal style, solid but light at the same time.
It can be used alone as a central furnishing complement in a room, placed on a wall, or camouflage itself with the home furnishings.
Designed by the architect and Chinese Chinese designer Lea Chen for VG, made entirely by Venetian artisans.
