Carved from a single piece of wood depicting Christ holding a lamb, with a finger pointing at it. 19th century or earlier, untouched and unrestored original condition with original paint worn commensurate with age. Gold, red, and brown are the predominant colors. Beautifully carved expressive face, hair, eyes, hand, and flowing robes. A collectors piece, an art lovers piece, and a high example of religious art.
