Vintage Hand Painted Limoges Germany China Dinner Plate – Gold Rimmed Rim Embossed – Oscar Schlegelmilch Ols St. Kilian

A gorgeous, unique hand painted Limoges plate with beautiful gold details, curving edges and a lovely floral central design. The gold edge does have a few very spots of wear, notably on the most raised bumps of the raised scrollwork.

This plate is free of chips and cracks, and has a marking in green on the reverse that reads OLS St. Kiltan Germany. This porcelain painted and gilded plate was made by Oscar Schlegelmilch in the early 1900’s for St. Killian pottery in Germany, and is signed on the front by the painter, ‘Huek’. The marking places it between 1904-1914.

Plate has a diameter of just 10″ across. A gorgeous piece to add to your Limoges collection, as a special wedding gift or serving piece, or even for everyday use! Hand painted, so hand washing only!
