Vintage Design
Old school bench made by the Dutch school furniture manufacturer Erven Kooijmans-Mes from the town of Wijchen (Dutch municipality of the province of Gelderland). With folding seat, marked on the cast iron frame with “Kooijmans Mes Wijchen” and “KMW”, and a ned. octrooi = Dutch patent number. The frame is made of blackened cast iron, seat and backrest are made of two-tone wood (beech).
The bench itself is mounted on a solid wooden base, but can be dismantled if necessary.
Very good condition, restored and polished ready for living.
