Mid-Century Vintage Teak Librenza Shelving Room Divider by E Gomme for G-Plan, 1951

Mid Century Vintage G Plan E Gomme Librenza Room Divider in Teak and Tola Black with brass handles and trim. Exceptional craftsmanship and quality throughout with a solid zebrano teak frame and ebonised shelves and cupboard fronts. E Gomme gold stamp to top drawer. Match grained to the back of the unit to enable it to be used as a Room Divider if required. Spacious drawers with dovetail joints and solid interiors; wide storage section to the top part with sliding doors in a contrasting black and teak; sturdy black shelves with brass supports to fix to the frame and a Cocktail Cupboard with drop down front and black front. Original brass level feet to accommodate any slight uneven floors. In excellent vintage condition the item has been thoroughly cleaned and lightly polished with teak oil ready for use. Original handles throughout and structurally sound with no wobbles breaks or repairs to the leg frame. The drop down door to the Drinks Cabinet has been replaced at some time in the past. Drawers and doors operate as they should. This is an item from the 1960’s and therefore will have some slight traces of use but none that affect the overall condition, appearance or function.
