Vintage Design
Mid 20th Century carved hardwood cabinet from 1950. Large Chinese export hardwood cupboard which lends itself perfectly to having a rail added to the interior for use as a wardrobe. Stained hardwood with a red base colour. Double door cupboard supported by brass fall hinges and central decorative domed and handles. Brass peg is unlikely to be original and only serves as decoration. Left door held in place by latch. Pierced and carved frieze to base, standing on block feet. This piece is made in 1 piece and does not split. Minor surface marks from use.
