Liberty & Co.
A Moorish Walnut Desk with Mushrabia turnings to the upper shelf, just below to the turned uprights there are dowel holes which I have shown in the images, they are there to hold wooden rods so you can wrap fabric of your choice stitched over the wooden rods, to cover in the open upper area to the back and to the sides. The base has a cool angular design, and still retains the original leather in the writing area. The original leather is worn and has some minor losses.
To the sides are four long opposite drawers, with lion heads details to all the drawer handles. The whole stood on turned and square angular legs united by a double stretcher, on the original brass and ceramic castors.
