Italian classical bronze sculpture of the Dancing Faun of Pompeii. Fauns were an example of spirits of untamed woodland, often connected to Pan and Greek satyrs by Romans, or followers of the Greek god of wine and agriculture, Dionysus. This joyful statue is a reproduction of the original which was discovered in Pompeii in one of the most famous houses of the archaeological site. Statue is one of the most popular objects of Grand Tour and has a beautiful patina.
