Vintage Design
Swedish painted Gustavian column table with a drawer underneath the table top. The table is from northern Sweden and made around 1800 to 1810.
The shape of the table top is an added design where it has multiple sides and angels. A smaller table like this could be a great side table for an added detail to a small space while still being functional. On its own or possibly together with other objects such as a wooden bowl. Dry scraped by hand down to the first layer of paint. The traces of blue paint combined with the aged pine creates the unique patina and character of this item. And a drawer on tables like this is also an uncommon feature. The foot has some older dry cracks but nothing that affects the functionality of the table. Solid and stable.
