Beautiful Gustavian corner cabinet from around 1780. The closet comes from the Scandinavian region, probably Sweden. The wooden cabinet has been painted over the years more often, the current color is a beer glaze that was probably applied around 1900. Among them can be traces of the underlying layer of paint, a green. A fine detail is the original glass, which is very irregular and clever. Like a miracle, all the years are still preserved. The ornamentation of the piece is typically Gustiavanian: reduced and geometric shapes that make the piece straight and climbed.
The wooden cabinet has not been restored and is in the original state, which is an advantage. Many pieces of this time have been restored so that you can hardly check whether they are original from the time or not.
The closet consists of one piece and can only be transported as a whole.
