Vintage Design
This is a superb large Vintage handmade triple pedestal dining table in elegant George III style, by the master cabinetmakers Arthur Brett & Son, Norwich, crafted in flame mahogany, dating from the mid-20th century. Capable of seating sixteen people in regal comfort it is an extraordinary piece of furniture which will add splendour to any room The top with reeded edge, the table has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion and it is raised on a “gun barrel” triple splay leg base on each end with a “gun barrel” quadruple splay leg base in the centre, all fitted with elegant lion’s paw brass castors. The amazing craftsmanship that has gone into this elegant table is immediately obvious, the lovely warm tones and grain of the flame mahogany wood ensuring the table is shown off to perfection.
