Vintage Design
Chest of drawers in flamed mahogany veneer from the Empire period. It is composed of a drawer in the belt and three drawers in the front. The uprights are in the form of straight pillars with gilded capitals and bases. The piece of furniture is decorated with bronze applications on the belt, the locks and the handles of the drawers. It is a decoration of palmettes, feathers and vegetal garlands. The ensemble is surmounted by a black marble top. The furniture is signed D.L. Pelletier. Denis-Louis Pelletier is a Parisian cabinetmaker who lived on rue du Bac and rue des Vieux-Augustins. He was received master on July 2, 1760. With his workshop, he commercialized furniture that he ordered from his colleagues like Gauda or Topino.
