Vintage Design
A lovely pair of lounge chairs designed by Theo Ruth and manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1950.
The smooth, curved shape of the seats together with the eye for detail and playful yet elegant style, makes this a highly recognizable design by Theo Ruth. The legs of the chairs are made of high quality beech wood in a warm brown color, slightly tapered. One chair has slightly lighter legs than the other. The seats are upholstered in a wonderful yellow fabric with square pattern that remains in exceptional condition! The deep, thick seat and ergonomic shapes create a very comfortable seating experience, making this set a soon to be favorite in the interior!
Chair remains in very good, original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
