Vintage Design
A set of six upholstered oak chairs by the renowned Danish designer Hans Wegner and produced by Getama in the 1970s. Staggeringly simple design with a square solid oak frame supporting a comfortable curved generously upholstered seat. Newly upholstered with modern fire retardant fillings covered in a turquoise hopsack fabric emulating the original blue-green material. They could also be recovered in a fabric of your choice for a small charge. Frames in good original condition with just expected light wear and small marks consistent with age.
Classic mid-century dining chairs from one of the foremost Danish designers of the era but the boldly simple design would also equally be at home in a post-modernist 1980s setting.
Approx. dimensions (cm): 78h x 50 w x 50 d seat 45 h.
