Burr Walnut Cocktail Cabinet or Dry Bar, Mid-20th Century

This is a fantastic vintage burr walnut cocktail cabinet with wonderful hand carved decoration dating from the mid 20th century. The cabinet features a carved Fleur De Lis cresting, the doors open to reveal a stunning fitted mirrored interior with a pair of glass shelves, a useful pull out slide, and a tray for serving drinks. It is fitted with a light that switches on when you open the door and it has been rewired so is in working order. The lower part has two handy drawers to house all your cocktail making accessories. The cabinet has decorative brass handless and stands on cabriole legs. This cocktail bar would be a wonderful and playful addition to your lounge or family room and is sure to get noticed wherever it is placed. However the true burr is a rare growth on the tree where hundreds of tiny branches have started to grow. Burr walnut produces some of the most complex and beautiful figuring you can find.
