Club Chair Absolutely love these chairs! These are original 1920’s art deco club chairs. We sourced them from Manchester however in the process of restoration we found a lot of old French coins so probably French! The chairs were still being used but in a poor state and not offering a comfortable seating position. We decided that the best way to show off these fabulous chairs was to do a full restoration. The original beech and elm frames has been striped, screwed and glued. All the springs have been either replaced or retired and we have replaced all the internal padding. We have kept the original shape throughout and chosen a stunning aniline leather distressed hide for each chair. This will enable each chair to age gracefully again giving each chair an individual look and character. Finally we have selected a soft brown velvet for the seat cushions and filled with feathers offering a fabulous seating position. We have kept the character of each chair and now after many hours of careful restoration the chairs are ready for another 100 years!
