High quality 19th century antique English cast iron/polished steel fire fender. We love the pierced design which would work well in modern as well as traditional settings, having an almost Art Deco sensibility. We also love the smaller than typical size–at 36.75″ wide it’s a stylish solution for a smaller fireplace.

A substantial and thick gauge sheet piece with attached thick bead top band and thick architectural cove base. There are some makers marks and number cast into back side.
