Important antique Italian Louis XIV period chest of drawers 1680s. On the front four large and useful drawers with a particular wavy shape. This chest of drawers is characterized by a spectacular and rich inlay work in walnut wood, made with different precious woods. Look carefully at the photos to understand the high artistic quality. In the 17th century only important families could afford to have furniture of this value. This chest of drawers comes from an important and historic northern Italian family. Over the centuries it has undergone repairs and the back, interior drawers and locks are not from the 17th century.
