A serigraph from the Cinetization X series by Belgian artist Pol Bury (1922-2005). Published in 1966 by Lefebre Gallery in New York, Cinetization X included ten serigraph images by Bury depicting famous landmarks and city scenes. This particular print is numbered “7/62” and is signed along the bottom edge and depicts what appears to be the first hot air balloon flight by the Montgolfier brothers in France. The print is unframed.

Pol Bury began his artistic career as a member of the art groups Jeune Peintre Belge and COBRA. He studied in France alongside great artists like Rene Magritte and Alexander Calder.
