Vintage Design
18th Century French kingwood bureau plat having a rectangular cross banded top, with a tooled leather insert, and moulded brass edging. With an arrangement of four drawers below having their original, quality metal work and inlaid with a contrasting wood. Two pull out slides, with delicate pull handles to the sides, having tooled leather surfaces. Raised on inlaid tapering square legs, terminating with the original brass sabot, raised on ball feet.
Could easily be used in the centre of a room with its quality appearance on all sides. Highly versatile as working desk.
