18th Century French Console with Spiral Carved Legs

A French carved wood and marble top console table from the 18th century. This antique table from France has a lovely oblong demi shape to it. It has a marble top that rests upon an apron with a softly swagged skirt, and is presented upon four rounded legs which are elegantly carved with spirals. The cream colored marble is a later, vintage addition to the table. The painted finish is primarily original, but has had some custom paint additions. This beautiful 18th century French marble top demi console is just shy of 5.5 feet in length.
