Chest of drawers in the style of Louis XVI, made in the technique of marquetry from different types of wood: red, rose, lemon, amaranth, rosewood, palm, etc., with decorative overlays in bronze and marble top. Brand: Charles Guillaume DIEHL, Paris. 1860s. His work won an award at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1867, after which he became one of the most sought-after furniture makers of the 19th century and is highly valued at all major World auctions to this day.
