THIS IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL STUNNING GREEN IRRIDECENT CARNIVAL GLASS PUNCH!
This includes 26 pieces: 12 hooks, 12 punch cups. 1 bowl and 1 ladle. in the original box.
The Bowl set is still in the original box. The set has been used. Appearance of the pieces indicate used rarely with loving care. The cups look to be never used. There are no chips or cracks in any of the pieces. There is one green hook missing, the ladle is still in good condition.
Taking its roots in America, carnival glass is simply press-moulded glass with an iridescent finish. First manufactured in early 1905, the intricate pattern work and stunning colors captured the Art Nouveau aesthetic perfectly. Most patterns were inspired by nature or geometry, detailed to hide the seams from the mould. The patterns contiuned on for over 90 years.
