Vintage Design
The squat, compact cupboard surprises the user with an abundance of shelves and drawers after he has opened both wings. A folded worktop can be pulled out in the middle, with a large, subdivided drawer directly underneath. The asymmetrical division of the interior, even with integrated, switchable lighting, increases the visual appeal of the useful piece of furniture. A fully-fledged office workplace with lots of shelves, hidden in an inconspicuous piece of furniture, lockable with the original key. The piece shows some traces of use, the 70 years of its working life are reflected in the age patina, just traces of office work!
Few traces of wear. The idea certainly goes back to the 1930s, when multifunctional furniture for small spaces was a big issue. Our furniture dates back to the 1950s and was offered by the above-mentioned manufacturer as “House Office No. 4 Oak”. The worktop has minor flaws in the veneer, the furniture is completely original and appears to be fully functional. The sticker has been preserved from the back of the original manufacturer.
