Late 19th Century French Faux Bamboo Mirror

Late 19th century faux bamboo mirror made from cherry in France. The frame is hand turned to have the appearance of bamboo, but is made from rich cherry and retains its original color and patina. The corners of the frame intersect and surround a rectangular plate mirror. The mirror is original and has losses to the mercury, which gives it excellent character.
