18th Century European Carved Front Coffer Storage Trunk

Antique 18th Century carved front coffer or blanket chest. The front has three panels carved with intricate diamond design. The top rail has carved lunettes all the way across. The interior is lined with an old European newspaper dated 1789. Great piece for the end of a bed, down a hall or as a coffee table.
